We created the coolest place at the Gabba to watch test cricket.

Cricket Australia challenged the Wildcard to attract a new audience to ODI cricket and excite fans back to stadium ahead of the Ashes summer of cricket. We decided to do something that had never been done before in an Australian stadium.

We built a 32,000-litre swimming pool in the stands at the Gabba and allowed cricket fans to cool themselves off while watching test cricket. We created the coolest place to watch test cricket.
